Kitsune is a japanese fox spirit. It was this week's CHOW subject. This is my interpetation of the subject. Color and lines.

The tree is a subject of investigation inside the studio at the moment. This is my attempt at improving a previous pine tree I painted. It is not as 'prickly' as I would like it to be but I tried thinking shapes here.

Have fun catching that fish!

Result of a short fun exercise in our studio... but while painting I realized that I really need to practice the enormous subject called: COLOR. Get a better understanding on my use of color, color theory and how lighting works. Not feeling really comfortable in this area. So, to myself I say: 'Have fun catching that fish!'

Where the Wild Things Are

I went to see the film Where the Wild Things Are last week and absolutely loved it! Last year I painted my interpretation of what an extra 'monster' could look like.
