Final project Radhowtoschool Fall class

I completed this as my final project for Radhowtoschool's Storyboarding for Feature Animation class, Fall 2013. 

Again Rad's class was an interesting learning experience, and I had a lot of fun working on it.

DFL- October Sketchbook

I bought a Kuretake Calligraphy pen to draw with in my DFL - October Sketchbook. It has two markers in one! One side is 2.0 mm, the tip I use for drawing, and the other is 5.0 mm, good for blocking (if necessary). I'm curious to find out how many pages it will last. Takes a little getting used to it, but liking it a lot so far.

Here's a glimpse in my sketchbook of September. Focus for this book was: Observe and Draw from Life and develop my shorthands... watching it as a movie for me is a great way to quickly look back and flip through it, see it with a fresh pair of eyes and spot where I can or need to improve in my October sketchbook...

Drawing From Life September: CHECK!

Yesterday evening, on my train ride home, Sept 30th at 23:59, I filled the last page of my Drawing from Life September sketchbook!
I did it, filled up a 200 page sketchbook in a month, using both sides of the paper.
To celebrate I bought a new sketchbook today, Oct 1st, and... I'm going to do the same thing with this one. I'm hooked!
