Thumbs and a first pass

For one of the homework assignments for Steven's class, I wrote this short sequence a few weeks ago. Based on that sequence I rewrote, thumbnailed and drew these storyboards last week as a first pass.

Next 12 frames of the sequence where Mattie Ross and Rooger Cogburn meet Forster, the guy who wears a bear for a coat! This scene totally stuck in my mind when I finished watching True Grit for the first time. Is that a bear riding on a horse!? Haha...
