2 Minutes


2 Minute Gesture Sketches from photographic reference from Roland Garros.

Individual sketches are on a5 sized paper and I scaled them down and put them together to get an overview of what I did.
Throwing in some quick grey and white helps to read it better.


Goal of doing this exercise is to improve in drawing effective and clear gestures and energetic poses that read well, in short amounts of time.
Limiting my time to 2 minutes makes that I really need to focus on the gesture and the energy of the pose, and forget about details or try to make pretty drawings (which I usually try to do).

For now 2 minutes is short enough time for me, I'm still learning to conciously focus on the pose and gesture.
